IDentity Flex Antenna
Overview
The IDentity Flex remote antenna is an all-weather dual-aperture
(transmit & receive) antenna. Connected to the IDentity Flex
reader by 50 Ohm coaxial cables, the antenna can be located up
to 200 feet from the reader location with the appropriate coaxial
cable. Equipped with a bright red light emitting diode (LED),
the antenna is easy to install and configure. The LED provides
an indicator and test tool for the installer and facility staff. As
the SIRIT transponder enters the read zone, the LED will
illuminate indicating the transponder's presence.
The IDentity Flex antenna measures 12 x 30 x 2" and comes
with a universal mounting bracket for ease of installation.
Mounting options include pole/wall and overhead ceiling
mounting brackets for design flexibility. Performance
characteristics with this antenna include read ranges up to 25
feet at speeds of 45 mph.
Multiplexing
The IDentity Flex reader has an antenna-multiplexing feature
built in, which allows up to four antennas (read points) to be
controlled by a single reader, significantly lowering the cost per
lane.
Features
- Multiple Antennas
Up to four antennas per reader.
- Dual Aperture Antennas
Both send and receive elements are
in one enclosure facilitating ease of
installation.
- Integrated Indicator Light
Built in LED permits quick lane
configuration, read range verification
and testing.
