Dynatrac's RFID 13.56 MHz Mount-on-Metal Tag is specially designed to be mounted directly on metal surfaces. The tag features a plastic housing made of Polycarbonate (PC), which makes it very durable.

This RFID tag is compliant with ISO 15693 standards.

What kind of surfaces can this tag be placed on?
This tag can be placed on any metal surface. For example, on metal pallets, dollies, vehicles, engine parts, warehouse racking, metal containers, wheelchairs, IV stands and more.

What makes this tag different from other RFID tags?
Metal environments tend to interefere with the RFID signal transmission, which is why a special RFID tag is needed for applications where a lot of metal is present. Our 13.56 MHz Metal Mount tag is specially designed to work well in metallic environments.

How can this tag be mounted?
The way these tags are mounted on a surface depends the application. Some examples of how these tags can be mounted include screwing or bolting them onto the surface, glueing them with adhesive, and tieing them with wires.

Can anything be printed on these RFID tags?
Yes, it is possible to print on the surface of these tags, for example, company logo, ID numbers, bar codes and 2D bar codes.

What is the life expacancy of this product?
The life expectancy is anywhere from 1 to 10 years, depending on usage.

Are these RFID tags re-usable?
Yes, these tags are both re-usable and transferably. In addition, if required by the application, we can custom engineer these tags to be deactivated after they are been scanned by a reader.

In what environments/climates can these tags be used?
Depending on your requirements and your application, we offer RFID tags that are suitable for various enviroments and climates, including hot and cold temperatures, windy environments, high humidity, etc.
