These easy-to-install RX2 truck mount RFID readers are ideal for standard RFID based forklift pallet move applications - such as picking and putaways, shipping and receiving, as well as other material moves - where EPC (Electronic Product Code®) RFID-based identification of pallet locations and loads are used. EPC Class 0, Class 1 and C1G2 (Gen2) RFID tags can be read with this mobile reader.

The ultra-rugged RX2 is designed to operate on the business end of a lift truck, and it comes with an easy mounting solution that does not require lift downtime for installation or permanent lift modifications.

Powerful and versatile, yet simple

This mobile RFID reader comes standard with the Windows CE operating system and an 802.11 radio. In addition, supporting APIs, a sample RFID tag logging application, TCP/IP networking, and an embedded FTP server are provided as well. These features allow RFID data to be easily integrated into logistics applications, such as batch, real-time, client/server or .NET Compact Framework based solutions. Best of all, the RX2 vehicle-mounted mobile RFID readers are virtually maintenance free.
